Southwest Louisiana Credit Union Cards Rendered Useless.

Southwest Louisiana Credit Union is notoriously bottom tier banking. Users report getting incorrect account setups, constant mail and phone harassment as a result, and negligent account-hold reporting. Several bankers report rude staff at the Lake Charles branch.

Another complaint about the branch states that tricks are pulled regarding the loans.
This time, there was a software communication issue, causing the cards not to work. There was no harrassing phone calls, texts or messages sent out this time however, and the phone lines were backed up to 45+ people waiting to have calls answered, meaning, you found out at the register, and had to wait through long lines at the understaffed counter to get answers. Not all locations are displayed in google maps either, also causing confusion.

Some of the positive reviews are from people that don’t even reside in the area, leaving locals suspicious of the 3.2 star review.
There are multiple branches therefore multiple places to track down a review. Speed Media contacted the establishment and was notified that this issue will be resolved tomorrow. For the sake of that dollar sign in front of their name, they better hope so.
Update: The issue was not resolved and some employees were not made aware of this issues existence, despite the lines of angry costumers and overflowing parking lots, and over capacity 2 hour call wait times the day prior.
