Hurricane Delta is -90 CDO Monster

UPDATE: Mandatory Evac in effect for Delta. Curfews are in affect for Delta. Though its not something you can be arrested for violating, you should make an effort to follow them so that LEOs could watch for looters.

Delta has a -90 Central Dense Overcast and the eye is closed. It’s bringing lightning. It’s bringing tornadoes. It could be up to 400 miles wide of this. It’s not about what category it is or how fast it travels, but it’s gained 86mph in 24hrs due to the warm water it’s using for fuel and it still has a little bit to soak up. No, the water is not as hot as that in the Yuke but the water temp and hurricane growth is still loosely comparable to Wilma from 2005.

If you’re living in a trailer in the middle of a frag grenade of debris, you need to leave. Anyone in a flood area needs to leave. This storm soaked up a lot of water. Anyone near debris should leave. Its not as windy as Laura, but It’s hitting 15mi from where Laura hit. Louisisna already declared an SOE and a mandatory EVAC

Lake Charles has weakened infrastructure and larger buildings/glass buildings in LC and a few glass shards left from Laura in LC. They also have chemical plants and a poorly rated bridge to consider which sustained hurricane damage/weakening from Laura.

Though not on radar, Mississippi is already seeing Deltas clouds. This storm is much more than just a catagory and a trajectory.
