Giant Blast Sound In Westlake Concerns Everyone Who isn’t Used to ‘Steam Decompressions™️’

At 0246am, a blast could be heard throughout Sulphur and Westlake and nobody knows what is going on. If you over-prepared for COVID and have some gas masks lying around, keep them handy. Shit may or may not be blowing up, but it’s always good to keep handy when the pictures get blown off the walls and the windows crack every three months due to ‘harmless decompressions’.
Vocabulary Lesson:
Decompressed - When something that compressed becomes no longer compressed and busts out everywhere. I. E., The exploding targets decompressed when shot.
Steam: Odorless water vapor substance that rarely results in fires, rotten egg smell, or decompressions that set off car alarms.

”I heard BOOM, then endless rumbling, and I called my fiancé to see if they were still alive. Then I went to Facebook to see if anyone posted about it, nothing, nada.”
A reader writes in. Nobody knows what this explosion was. A decompression? Likely, but decompression is literally an explosion. It’s probably not steam, but that’s usually where this discussion ends up. So here’s a place holder image until we get some verifiable information.
